Yes, it's happened to me several times. My suspicions are my former landlords grandson, but I have no way to prove it.
In each case (Amazon and Sprint) I was able to call the vendor and get a replacement, but it's still a hassle and extended wait. I've even requested "signature required" but either the vendors or the shippers weren't willing to do that.
Happily, I've moved, and no longer have the problem.
