So I have been expecting a package to be delivered via UPS, and I have been tracking it online. I finally saw the "package delivered" notice on their web site and there was another detail mentioned: "Left on front porch". I get home thinking the package would be there, nothing. No package, no little yellow sticky note, nothing. I decide to wait until the next day just to see if they may have made a mistake, still nothing. I call the vendor to find out when my package will be delivered, they also show it as "delivered". I explained that no package has been delivered. The rep on the phone said they have to initiate a delivery trace from UPS, which will take 10 to 14 days! After that they can/may resend the part.

I am not worried about getting the part, or getting a refund, I can simply have it removed from my credit card. The thing that bothers me is that now I have to wait two more weeks through no fault of my own!

I just felt like ranting a bit, although it didn't make me feel much better.
Anyone have any similar experiences with package delivery? I did some Google searches and it seems that sometimes criminals will actually follow the UPS truck around and steal every package they leave outside anyone's house. End rant...
