Thanks! i will try first then. I will used primary for browsing, load apps to read pdf's, the usual use of download books from EVeRYWHERE () or any cool app. Not for games etc...

Honestly I don't know, I use my nook so much for reading, surfing, email, writing docs, and games that its hard for me to track actual battery life. It really depends on usage. I usually get 4hrs with heavy usage(WIFI/games) to a full day depending on what I use it for. WIFI and especially games really kill the battery.


That is correct you can run CM7 off SD card and not root your nook. It is very easy to do.

I would actually recommend that first, then when and if you are ready to take a dive you can install CM7 on the eMMC. The advantage, and my choice, of eMMC is that you get to use the 8GB on you device, it's easier to update, it is more stable and you can use the sd card for additional storage.
