So far, I guess I'll continue to do what I have been doing. I buy the book, send to kindle then through usb open documents folder and get the book dedrmed that way. That is how I've been doing it since I got my kindle. I never realized how much trouble the k4pc issue was. I just knew I could never get it to work right. I hope this blows over and they don't do anything drastic. As it is I get a lot of books from other stores as well and then crack them to work on my kindle.
I like freedom of choice and not to be locked to one store as amazon wants. If they want to play dirty, I'll just buy elsewhere or borrow from the library. (Yes I've been reading library books on the kindle for a while now hehe) I think the book industry needs to wake up and take notes from what happened to the music industry. It seems like history is repeating itself. Borders= The Wherehouse or Tower Records. It is really sad.
