This is the fifth in her "Young Wizards" series. I think I might have read it before, and I've definitely read the first four before. But the first four are going to be revised to fit the timeline of the later books better (and to make the technology match better too), so I'm not going to re-read them until that's done.
Wow. I'd forgotten how good this series is. Absolutely splendid. Very highly recommended. I'm really looking forward to the revisions of the first four books.

The books can be read out-of-order, although there will obviously be some spoilers for earlier books in later books.

If you've never read them before, I would recommend starting with "So You Want To Be A Wizard?".

For me, straight on to: A Wizard Alone by Diane Duane

The sixth in the series. I think I did read the fifth book, a long time ago. I'm pretty sure I've never read the sixth.
