Thanks Carol,
I thought about delving deeper into why I couldn't get the k4pc way to work, but the other way I do it has worked well for me as I copy my documents folder over when I connect my kindle to calibre. Who knows how long that will last til the next kindle update. It just sucks that they are making this more difficult for people trying to legitimately buy their books. I mean there are people with Sony Readers, Kobo Readers, Nooks ect that are buying kindle books to read on their devices, that is more sales for amazon is it not? It just will make people get their books from alternative places. I want a book that is future proof to whatever device I may use in the future. I don't believe I am renting a book when I have to pay 14.99 for it. (I never pay over 10 but even that is high for a "rental") DRM just prevents honest people from using their purchase to it's fullest extent, it won't stop the pirates. The whole industry needs to realize that and get rid if it altogether. Would make for happier honest customers.
