I was skeptical. I got an eink device to read PDFs for work. Then I tried reading newspapers on it and loved it... the next step was downloading some free classic books and I was hooked right away.

Don't get me wrong... there are some things I miss about books. I loved - and still love - collecting them, organizing my shelves. I even have a huge collection of bookmarks.

But the advantages of ereaders are many. I get the books I want right away. I travel light. Most books are cheaper, if not free. I can re-size text (not a small thing, if you have poor eyesight like me).

I will admit - if I really like a book, I still buy the hardcover, at times. Just to have it on my shelf. But I read everything electronic. Well, everything I can find in electronic formats.

Oh and for those who like to organize your books, like me... there is always GoodReads.com
