Yes, and that's exactly why I didn't get one. There is no support for the pen to be used as a stylus within Android to control the OS in general, or with most Android apps. The pen can be used only for drawing on the screen. As soon as you touch the pen to the screen, it takes a screen shot, and then lets you draw on it.
