I remember -- you were getting nice older editions earlier in the thread, right? I'm afraid I'm a bit of a philistine when it comes to book paper, bindings, etc. -- I mostly don't notice unless I dislike the paper for some reason. Switching to digital was a godsend for me; I love it.
I think it's pretty normal paper. B&N used to carry it in their physical stores, if you wanted to handle one yourself.
