I've been wanting these features and I'm curious if anyone has any information as to why they won't work on the iPod. I believe that the caching in RAM should allow for the crossfade aspect, and I'd like to apply different profiles to different playlists or power options (you know, have the display stay lit while in the charger, crossfade options for certain playlists,...)

It'd be great if we could control these functions in iTunes and have them sync over to the iPod during the update process.

Are there any extra features that you guys would like to see in iTunes and/or the iPod? How does one suggest features to Apple for future updates? Do they even listen to us "normal" people?
