I just received my m90 (Dulin's books was fast and helpful - good service). The machine has a lot of potential (i.e. the screen is nice), but as it stands it's a bit of a brick. It's slow (glacial compared to my Kindle 3) and buggy. It's slowness is compounded by a lack of responsiveness, so you never know if it's being slow or just didn't register the command (or if it's just gone into 'hang mode'), which makes it even slower as you wait to find out before hitting the button again. The UI is not very intuitive and the options are definitely odd in some cases. Many of the promised features don't actually work: the handwriting recognition doesn't work, except for Chinese (but even there it's accuracy at recognizing symbols is very poor), the annotation function is not great (the highlighted portions seem to appear and disappear at random and the highlighted portion often gets stored without spaces - not ideal) and as yet annotations cannot be exported to your computer (promises for the future). The text to speech is comically bad - even reading along with the text I couldn't tell what words it was trying to say. The keyboard function is extremely slow and the letter you pressed usually doesn't show up until you've pressed the next one, which means if you've made an error you can't see it until you've moved on.
The IR sensor is largely useless - it works sometimes, but usually not, and to compound that problem, if you're in annotation mode the IR sensor doesn't work at all and since it is the only controller that allows you to scroll (rather than jump pages) you can't scroll when annotating.
Sorry for the negativity of this review, but the machine is a bit of a lemon. It could be good, but it needs an extensive amount of reworking and debugging. Until those fixes are in, I would advise avoiding this machine.
