The Dead this morning, the prequel to

). Higson tells a good tale, and his adult (as in
grown-up, not "adult" adult) books are also well worth a read.
Just started Robopocalypse, which though not zombies, is in a similar armageddon/end-of-the-world theme, and then I'm thinking of starting in on Scott Sigler's
Infected.
