I've had my Kindle and USB cable since late November 2010, and it still looks fine. I've been having sporadic problems lately with the Kindle not being recognized by the computer, though. I'm not sure if the problem's with the cable, the computer, or the Kindle itself. The problem just started occurring about a month ago. I guess I should try another cable and/or USB port to troubleshoot.
