Yes, unfortunately it is. I'm supposed to fail if I don't focus in class, disobey orders... It's a compulsory subject in high schools, colleges and universities here.
And next week would be all lectures about building armies. Exhausting. Listening to Marxist opinions on war for a week makes me feel like we're about to be sent to battles really soon
And one question: why do officers always shout when giving orders (and we're supposed to yell back)? Can't they turn down the volume? I'm the first in line so the sound effect is pretty awesome

We had similar training camps and military training lessons in schools&universities in the xUSSR that I mostly managed to avoid but got caught by IDF
