No worries, Ashjuk. Manhattan was founded by tourists and continues to be a city of tourists turned locals. As someone who grew up elsewhere, I count myself among them.

The only Americans who can call themselves indigenous and be correct about it are Native Americans.

A local comedian phrased it this way:
