Sorry. No sexism intended. I just subscribe to the old fashioned rule in English writing that when referring in third person singular to a person of unknown sex one uses he. Mental note, Sneakysnake is a she.
Trying to come up with clues for one of my favorite old films while not giving it away.
- This film is from the 1950s
- The lead male star wanted it filmed on location. The studio, for budget reasons, insisted it be filmed on a Hollywood set
- The director was married to a famous Hollywood star and they had a daughter that also became an actress of stage and screen
- Music and script by two men renown for many famous films.
- The romantic leads were paired in a number of films.
