Just to be clear, Kobo ereaders (WiFi) are for sale in bricks and mortar stores in Canada, US, UK, Australia, New Zealand and Hong Kong (and now, or shortly, in the Caribbean) ... these stores include book chains, big box electronic stores, office supply stores and big box discounters ... and the latest model, the Touch, is currently in stores in Canada and the US, expected in Germany in August (a few weeks from now) and -- not announced, my guess only -- will roll out into the countries and stores currently selling the WiFi in the coming weeks.

There is no reason to think they will not also be in bricks and mortar stores in other European countries before year end as online bookstores open for France, Netherlands, Spain and Italy.
