Also, the Story HD isn't set to be sold in Australia for another month yet. iRiver is launching it in Oceania in August. Pricing hasn't been set yet, but it should be comparible to the US price tag. Also, the Story HD WILL include Google Books support in Australia. The only snag is that Google Books Australia hasn't launched yet, so if you want to use Google Books before that happens (Which, Google says it is in the works), you will need a US google account.

No - it's not the HD, it's the model that sells for about $140 US. As you say, the HD is not yet available in Australia. And it is very difficult to get a Google USA account without setting up a proxy server as they can see by my ISP where I live.
