I fully expect him to. There are suppose to be 7 books in the series. He has a minimum of 2 more to write. I don't expect the next book for another 5 years. Then 5 years after that for the 7th book. Realistically speaking, he is going to end up with more then 7 books, the fourth and fifth were suppose to be one book that got to be too large and I expect that to happen at least one more time.

So he might finish the series in 15 years.

Let me put it this way, the length of time in between the books is far too long. His publisher does not seem to have the balls to tell him to write on a schedule that is reasonable or to tell him to learn to cut out the minor stuff. HBO is probably paying him a good amount for the series so he has no real financial reason to write.

I don't trust him. I did enjoy the first three books but I won't pick up the rest of the series until it is done.
