That makes sense. I actually PREFER condensing genres, which is why I've combined "horror" and "scifi", despite the fact that that means a lot of really different stuff ends up smushed together. "Asimov" and "Aliens" in the same genre?!? Makes sense in MY head, but I can see why it wouldn't for everyone.

I still think you could do all that you say in Calibre and Sony, but I could be wrong.
