Even m.gmail.com is rather hard to navigate. I see no technical barriers for a simple email app on Kindle. Amazon had plans for app developers but they haven't very far probably due to 3G data pricing issues. Data limits is not a problem for WiFi connection but it would be hard for Amazon to separate 3G from WiFi. I do not expect any commercial email app soon but I really would like to have one.
