I also think most of those who've converted, are glad they did, and yet most convertees recognize that some people (like EC) have different needs and/or don't want to convert. That's fine, but changing Calibre to support those special needs isn't likely to happen. It's too big and fundamental of a design change.

Anyone who wants just conversion can do it all with Calibre command line tools.
