Thanks for the update, I'll avoid updating for now!! I don't buy Kindle books much, but I did just buy a Kindle book 2 weeks ago for my class (couldn't find in epub). I needed to strip/convert to read on my Nook.

Yes, I do it right away. It's like a mail in rebate. The first thing you do is prepare the mail in rebate and put it in the envelope - before you get to play with your purchase! Otherwise you might wait until it's too late.
