I'm in Engineering, so the PDFs would have some diagrams. Generally, the material comes straight from the prof, but sometimes the material is scanned and thus does not reflow text.

I don't really want to go with a tablet. I considered a Nook Color, but I want an e-ink device because my eyes are already pretty messed up and I get tired looking at LCD for too long.
