Although I am not new to e-readers I have never owned one. I fiddled with my husband's Sony so much that every time he had a problem he brought it to me. So he received the Color Nook for Father's Day and I got the old Sony and loved it untill I received the email from Woot about the Pocket eDGe. Wanting a tablet but not wanting to spend a lot of cash this seemed like the perfect toy and it was a great deal.. I received my Pocket Edge about 2 weeks after eDGe closed down, I did get a little worried about technical support but this group has really helped me out. I am glad that the eDGe web site pointed me in this direction. I think I will keep the Sony and the eDGe, I did think for a while I was going to sell the Sony but I have now changed my mind.
Thanks to the many who posted information on updating I got everything up and working, it only took 10 tries till I figured it out. I will post that information in the proper forum. I am not new to the computer world but I am new to forums.
So: I am happy to be here and thanks for all the wonderful members who helped me out and didn't even know it.
