You didn't see trolling because this might be the first thread you've seen him talk about this obsession of his. I'm guessing that this might be the 6th or more thread I've seen him obsess over this. Other threads have devolved to the point of moderators stepping in with a cease and desist order.

I don't mind him espousing his position and he certainly does not need to provide a convincing reason why he "needs it." This is his preferred method of dealing with his books and he is frustrated because if calibre made this one "small" item user configurable he would be able to jump into the deep end and join in the fun.

But as it is, hearing him get up on his soapbox for the umpteenth time is like hearing your kid say from the back seat "are we there yet?" The first few times you might empathize with your kid, but after a time it is just a irritant.

Personally I think it time EowynCarter stopped asking "are we there yet?"
