I'd agree. But the currently-available version does seem to have a few
serious bugs - random page-turning is not a good thing. The older iriver models seem to suffer from a few quirks as well, which is not a good sign - I think we're all aware of the perils of buying a device and then hoping the small Korean company that makes it will get round to fixing the firmware.
Still, that screen is certainly very tempting, and it's possible that the team-up with Google has led to some Google engineers lending a hand with the software. We'll have to see.
