I've had no success using Calibre to run unattended and regulary push RSS feeds to my Kindle. Any time it hits a problem (connection down, email failure) it pops up a notification dialog and does nothing further until you come to your PC and click Ok. Calibre just isn't ready for automated, unattended tasks. I wish it were.
