On the subject of saggy pants: When I worked at Jewel, we had one kid who insisted on the saggy, baggy pants. The girls on the front end all hated that look, and we did everything we could to convince him it just didn't look good. The two most effective strategies were depantsing the kid (seriously, we did this about six times, just walked by and pulled 'em the rest of the way down. Usually not in front of customers though), and pointing out guys with cute butts with properly fitted jeans and commenting (and commenting ad infinitum ad nauseum) about how we LOVED that look because we could see the guys' cute butts. I told a lot of stories about "Wrangler butts" (which is what we call a guy in good fitting Wrangler brand jeans in Texas).
