That is in some parts true, but Amazon still has a very inflexible shipping system when it comes to shipping Kindle-items abroad. And $20 dollar for a charger is quite pricey.

Why is it that these items can only be sent by VIP shipment? These shipments cost a bundle compared to the normal shipping charges.

I didn't ask for this VIP shipment in the first place, but when it comes to Kindle items it is the only available option. This is not helping Amazon sell accessories because who would want to buy some accessory when you end up paying more for the shipping than the actual value of the item.
