Just spent a day on the "beach" at
Melide (CH). 10 miles from home.
It is called Lido Comunale, it is considered one of the prettiest establishments of the lake of Lugano (Ceresio).
There is a swimming pool for children and a bar restaurant with excellent summer food. Entrance is 6 fr. Children under 7 years have free entrance.
Yesterday it was almost empty because of the weather forecast. They said terrible rainstorms and we had a beautiful sunny day. We had disastrous rains Thursady.
