And face it--we're looking for readers, not a promo area. But I never got the sock puppet thing. If you are going to do that, you need to spend some SERIOUS time building an online persona that includes reviews, posts and presence. If you were going to walk around in disguise in real life, you wouldn't just throw on a costume and show up pretending to be Lady Gaga. Wait. That would work, wouldn't it???
