I love Chronicles of Narnia to bits. Even as an adult, I still have to have my monthly readings of the series otherwise I'll just wilted and die. And it's interesting to note that quite a few people here have the Horse and His Boy as their favorites because... It's mine too! With Dawn Treader as a close second.

Besides that, I loved Mallory Towers, the St Clare's series and the Naughtiest Girl series, all by Enid Blyton. I never got to study in a boarding school so I practically devoured those books. Babysitters Club and Sweet Valley were good too, though I by far preferred the former.

And oh yes, the Three Musketeers by Alexander Dumas! I re-read that book so much it is practically in tatters right one and my grandfather had to tape it back. I have the ebook version now, but I refuse to part with the paperback for sentimental reasons. And I had suuuuch a huge crush on Athos back then.
