Decisions, decisions.
My desktop computer is really in need of a reinstall. When I boot it up it crashes a couple of minutes after loading Windows (blue screen), after the reboot it will all day. The problem is that in my infinite wisdom I have put away my Windows disk in a "safe place" a while ago and now I can't find it anymore. At first I was planning on buying Windows 7 but then realised that it might be a better idea to save for a new computer instead, since this one is getting a bit old.
Because I'm going house sitting in two weeks' time plus some other expenses I know that are coming I won't be able to save as fast as I normally would so I expect I have enough money to buy the computer I want at the end of August.
Now I have 3 options:
1. Give this computer to my father for the store and work on my notebook until I've got a new computer. Problem: he'll want the Windows disk.
2. Get Windows 7 and reinstall it next week. Problem: will take longer to save for my computer.
3. Discuss it with my father and hopefully he (the store) is willing to pay for Windows 7 plus a reinstall when I get my new computer. Problem: might not work.
Starting to hate computers again.
