^^ Great points folks. Indeed, I am no fan of piracy, but forgetting about issues like consumer dissatisfaction and perceived over-pricing of media, yes, my primary concern would be to avoid going down that very slippery slope rogue_librarian astutely mentions.
We will see - perhaps this is indeed more posturing and a way to generate revenue. Who knows at this point?
