Everyone relax. From out here, someone who hasn't coded since 1987 and has no dog in that "fight", you guys are expending too much energy right-fighting. Not trying to mommy anyone here, just calling it how it looks to me.
Yugami seemed to be very spiteful in refusing to share data that was publicly available and managed to snag it before it disappeared off the planet and is either a) useless so why not share it? or b) helpful so the reasons for not sharing are probably spite or he's planning to exploit it in some way. He did provide valuable information until he seemingly stopped responding to code-side questions.
Ptsenter's initial "no thanks to yugami" was silly and uncalled for, but really wasn't a big deal. He has been helpful in producing his ROM (whether or not someone *could* have done the same, no one did) and yes, it could have screwed everything up in a device. Which he disclosed. Hence why people were shy to install. Yes, everyone gets that ptsenter feels like yugami was a $#@.
Emusan keeps egging it on. Which is also very immature. He's not his mommy, it's not his job to call him on it. It's one thing to say, "hey yugami's been great in my opinion!" It's another to keep harping on the stupid comment. As for refusing to work with him, that's your choice, but frankly if we all refused to work with people we found immature or stupid or insert negative character trait here, the world would stop. It's just a fact of life, and the egos involved in this field, which I'm guessing is your intention to work in after you've gone to college from your posts, are HUGE and you'll have to do it all the time to get anywhere with any project.
So I think I speak for those of us who have invested ourselves in the longer Edge fight, I hope you all can just agree you aren't friends, and you all have valuable skills to input in helping us all and can just do the job and continue to hate each other if that's really necessary.
I have 3 PEs that I'll be cautious in using as test subjects (and may be buying 1-2 more), BUT it also means that I have 3 subjects of this irrationally unstable device being used within one environment that I'm willing to share data if you guys just tell me what you'd like and how to get it.
I also have a very valuable person in the programming sector that I may be able to tap for resources if I knew what to ask
