I am interested in reading this book on my Kindle:
http://books.google.com/books?id=swG-jddpVUsC
I have a paper copy of it that I purchased a few years ago at a used book store or library book sale, but can't ever seem to bring myself to read it because, well, it's paper! I read the first few pages, and really enjoyed it, so I do want to finish it. So, I've been looking for an ebook copy and finally stumbled across the version on Google Books. That'd be nice and all, but reading on my laptop would be even worse than reading the pbook! :-)
So... does anybody know... if I were to buy the Google books copy, would I be able to download an unencumbered epub file that I could convert w/ Calibre? [does Google indicate prior to purchase which are downloadable and drm free? I don't see it] (Perhaps by doing the offline sync w/ the google books app on my phone) Short of that, does anybody know of a Kindle friendly version being sold anywhere?
I've even considered scanning it and saving it as images in a huge PDF, but that just seems like way too much work, and would probably be unpleasant as well.
Thanks!
