Not until now. I bought and read The Wonderful Wizard of Oz as a prelude to reading Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West by Gregory Maguire (which I'm reading now), and wouldn't you know it? Wicked contains the original Baum story as a bonus!
