1. no need to attach to computer
2. can download books in a local retail store (or anywhere for that matter)
3. size (big)
4. speed
5. access to samples
highlighting and notes are nice but not a high priority for me. what i need is being able to get across the book easy. going from chapter to chapter makes that easier, but a book is still infinitely easier to navigate and find a selection you wanted to look back to.
