I take back most of the negative comments I made regarding this cover.

Today I received the official lighted cover through the post, and I could tell from the moment I clipped my reader to the plastic pegs that I would be returning it later today. It is garbage. You cannot read lying down with the official cover as the magnets aren't strong enough to hold the reader back, so it flies towards you, only hanging by two plastic pegs. It is difficult to hold with one hand, especially as the cover does not fold all the way back and stay put. It flops about. Holding it like a book doesn't help either, as the weight of the device makes the whole thing snag down on the right side. The smell is an atrocious chemical odor (worse than the Tuff-Luv cover). The weight, as reviews I should have took proper note of have said, is too much. The weight of just the cover with battery inserted is more than the device itself and the weight of the Tuff-Luv cover with the device inserted.

I'm also miffed that the seller on Amazon I bought this product from, says that the company doesn't offer refunds on "accessories". We'll see about that...

I've been using the Tuff-Luv cover featured in the image at the top of this thread for hours on end today, and I'm glad I finally got over my initial misgivings. It is light, easy to hold as the front flips over and thanks to a button clasp, stays flipped over. Because you can slide your fingers in the gap it creates, it is easy to read with one hand lying down in bed. The stand will no doubt prove useful for plane and train journeys, and overall, the reader is much more protected in this cover. I would feel comfortable just throwing the reader in my bag and not worrying. With the Sony cover, I would only feel comfortable leaving it around the house. The magnets do not work well at all. The Sony cover is only suitable as a dust cover, and permanent fixed light. The light itself is great, if a little cheap feeling.

Given the lack of options available to Sony Pocket users, I'd say on reflection the Tuff-Luv Multi-view cover is the best of a limited bunch. I echo the comments above that open-book style cases are clumsy, and if one wishes to read with one hand, are totally unsuitable.

Now all I need is to find a clip-on light that can clip onto the top of the reader and cover. I don't think the standard clip-ons will work because of the extra thickness the back of the Tuff-Luv cover creates...
