Perhaps the better question then is does anyone know of a way to access the data when I can't get the PE to complete the boot process?

Sorry if some of my questions seem silly--I'm still learning how to work with hardware. In the past, I've been able to solve my technical issues either at a software level or with very basic hardware fixes like upgrading memory.
