Sorry, my bad.
I assumed there was a gen2 commercially available, but this was bases on the fact that there’s currently a gen3 device. If there was a gen2 device then it probably died during development, probably with the introduction of e-paper. I’ve only started taking e-book readers seriously with the introduction of e-paper.
