No, there is no app. It was announced, then it was cancelled - or, at least, delayed - due to SONY and Apple running into some issues about the was SONY charges for its books. I am puzzled, because I don't see much difference between SONY's pricing structure and, say, Amazon's (but, for some reason, the Kindle app was approved, while SONY's wasn't).

Anyhow, SONY's store first announced the app, then said it was delayed and eventually removed any mention of it, without ever announcing a cancellation. As we have not heard anything about it since January, I would not hold my breath...

The only alternative, somehow cumbersome, is to strip your books of DRM. The legality of it is debatable and people will not give instructions here on the forums. But you can Google it.

Overall, a pain in the backside. I wish I could read my books on the iPad, but I am too lazy to strip.

Hopefully SONY and Apple will solve their differences...
