I tasted kimchi/kimchee today.
My other half is reading an odd book
The 4-Hour Body: An Uncommon Guide to Rapid Fat-Loss, Incredible Sex, and Becoming Superhuman by Timothy Ferriss It has become a bible of her colleague. She and her fiance are following a diet specified in the book for 6 months now.
So, the author suggests eating kimchi, Japanese natto and drinking Fermented Kombucha Tea.
Kimchi was hot, though not terribly hot, even I could eat it. It didn't smell bad at all.
We prepared ourselves for an onslaught on our smell receptors and taste buds after reading
CWatkinsNash and
Stitchawl descriptions. However, it was only cabbage, ginger and chilli. I guess it was not a proper one.
She is very curious to try Japanese natto now...
We do know what Fermented Kombucha Tea is though.
It was popular in xUSSR households. We only didn't know the original name of this mushroom
