Sony seems to have a two revenue model -- one from the sale of the Reader itself and another from sales of their books through their store. The development of Fictionwise supporting the Reader is a major plus for Sony users. (I for one love getting Analog this way every month.)

I am confused by an earlier comment, I thought Sony's Blu-Ray won the HD format war.
