Yes, but it doesn't say that. It says "Come in to any Barnes & Noble store and show us your old eReader. When you buy any NOOK, we'll give you 30 FREE books to start your NOOK library..." It doesn't use the word ANY to describe the ereader - it says "old ereader", not any ereader.

You can argue with this policy, but let's be accurate.

Edit: in small print it does say, "Offer applies to any other eReader brand. eReaders do not include mobile phones, laptops, or general purpose tablet computers." So it depends on what they mean by "ereader brand." It doesn't say ereader model. I think what they mean here is that it doesn't have to be a Barnes and Noble brand ereader. I think they have themselves covered, although it is pretty misleading.
