Evenin' all.
I've been lurking for quite some time. Finally settled on a Sony Reader Pocket (PRS-350) Edition. I had to return the first one I bought as I was sold a display model that didn't function properly by the overly-eager salesperson in Waterstone's, and so I'm now (finally) the proud owner of a snazzy BLUE Sony PRS-350. The silver of the majority of models really put me off, and so I was very surprised to find that Waterstone's in the UK stock dark ('midnight') blue models of the readers, and thus I was sold.
I paid the slightly princely sum of £111 for my e-reader. A sum which I gather is cheaper than most places are pricing what looks like a discontinued line of readers from Sony. I'm happy so far. I'm getting to grips with collections and Calibre, as the Sony software provided unsurprisingly crashed during my first use.
I'm 24 years old. I'm a recent Religious Studies graduate, currently residing in the lush countryside of mid-west-Wales. I'm a big fan of classic crime fiction (á la Agatha Christie), Alison Lurie, and books on theoretical approaches 'religion'.
I look forward to potentially forging friendships here, and finally - after many years of study - reading for 'pleasure' for once!
