Thank you so much for this thread! I never knew what my mother likes (and what I keep an eye out for!) is called "Cozy Mysteries". So much easier to name than "mysteries that aren't especially graphic, with no sex and no swearing, please!"

Will be watching the 99 cent and freebies recommendations with interest -- thanks!!
