Hi all,

Here, I am the proud owner of a Sony PRS650 eBook. But in fact the two questions do not concern him.

1st question: I use the free program "Template" to transfer my ebooks on this device (it runs on a Vista Pro 32 bit).

The software converts the digital books in ePub format (if not its original format) to transfer it to the reader.

Unfortunately, during the tranfer, it replaces some accented characters (or rather some accents) with cabalistic characters.

I looked at the options of the program, I found nothing that could solve this problem (I use to format TXT UTF 8).

If among you there are familiar with this program, I am taking a good hand.

Second question: On the other hand, the book that is poorly formatted Currently reading (eg I have "-" hyphenation just anywhere or line breaks so the middle of a sentence) .

Apparently, Calibre has functions that allow, automatically, to rebuild a proper paging.

If you know these functions, I'm interested as a helping hand.

Voila, je suis l'heureux propriétaire d'un eBook Sony PRS650. Mais en fait mes deux questions ne le concerne pas.

1ère question : J'utilise le programme gratuit "Calibre" pour transferer mes livres numériques sur cet appareil (il tourne sur un Vista Pro 32 bits).

Le logiciel convertie le livre numérique au format ePub (si ce n'est pas son format d'origine) afin de le transférer sur le lecteur.

Malheureusement, lors du tranfert, il remplace certains caractères accentués (ou plutôt certains accents) par des caractères cabalistiques.

J'ai regardé dans les options du programme, je n'ai rien trouvé qui puisse régler ce problème (j'utilise, pour le format TXT l'encodage UTF 8).

Si, parmis vous, il y en a qui connaissent bien ce programme, je suis preneur d'un bon coup de main.

2ème question : D'autre part, le livre que le lis actullement est mal formaté (par exemple j'ai des "-" de coupure de mots un peu n'importe où ou alors des sauts de lignes au milieu d'une phrase).

Apparement, Calibre dispose de fonctions qui permettent, en automatique, de refaire une pagination correcte.

Si vous connaissez ces fonctions, je suis preneur aussi d'un bon coup de main.
