Yes. The easiest method is Calibre. It will convert Kindle formats to ePub. But first you need to remove any DRM from the books. Google Apprentice Alf for details, we can't post them in this forum.

You might also consider the Kindle with Special Offers. This will eliminate any conversion requirements, since you can have the Kindle registered to the same account you already use. IMO, the Kindle 3 is a significantly better reader than the original Kobo. With the special offers, you will likely end up saving much of the original cost of the Kindle if you use any of them.
